Amazon Drop Off & Collection Point

To help with your on-line shopping. The Post Office Counter is now an Amazon Drop Off and Collection Point.

This service is only available when the Post Office Counter is open.  See the Opening Hours page for details on when this is.

Foreign Currency

Small orders of Euro's & US Dollars now available on demand. Larger amounts of Euro's & US Dollars and any amount of 55 other currencies available for collection next working day after 1pm, excluding Saturday and Sunday. Must be ordered & paid for Monday to Friday before 2pm. Please remember to bring ID, passport or driving licence when collecting your currency.

Post Office volunteers needed

Do you have some time on your hands and want to keep your brain cells ticking over?  Your friendly Smarden Post Office team of volunteers will warmly welcome you. All training is provided at the Post Office counter in the Smarden Community Store.  Flexibility, as you only work one or two half days (morning or afternoon) each week and cover is provided whenever you are away on holiday etc.
