Mike Marsh

I would like to put myself forward to join the Management Committee, as I believe that my knowledge and experience would be put to good use in running the Store. I was previously a member of the original committee that set up the Store, where I had responsibility for assisting with the business plan and collating the paperwork for setting up the Community Benefit Society. In addition, I have been a senior manager in financial services for over thirty years, including experience of running successful shopping centres. I have lived in the local area for 15 years with my family and have been active in the community including: - being Treasurer of the Smarden Sports Association, organising and working at the Beer Festival and Smarden Spectacular and attending coffee mornings with the Good Neighbour Scheme. I am committed to continuing to make the running of the store a success for all residents of our lovely village!
